Desired Candidate Profile:
- At least 8 years of experience in Core, Distribution & Access layers in Transmission & IP
- Working knowledge of ECI products (XDM & BG Family), Cisco, Juniper
- Working knowledge of PDH / SDH & DWDM technology
- Working knowledge of O & M activities
- Hands-on experience on Fault Management and link provisioning
- Working knowledge of ECI NMS
- Should be able to troubleshoot network issues like Hardware Failures
- Should have experience of delivering MPLS links
- Good team management & customer management skills
- Should be able to conduct network traffic analysis and propose re-routing wherever required
- Should be able to install and commission DWDM & other ECI equipments
- Should be able to install Optical & IP CPE / Modem for last mile
- Problem troubleshooting using advanced Telecom equipment like E1 Tester, VSWR meter, Optical Power Meter, Network analyser,ANT-20 etc
Job Description:
- Manage Feasibility activity in the circle
- Manage Service Delivery activity in the circle
- Manager Service Assurance & Fault Management activities in the circle
- Maintain information of the circle network for easy & fast management
- Respond to business critical cases in a timely manners
- Ensure timely completion of bandwidth (BW) feasibilities by Circle NOC teams
- Ensure timely creation of logical diagrams to be reverted along with feasibilities
- Respond to business critical issues in a timely manner
- Manage relationships with the Circle NOC & Circle ECB team for smooth functioning of the circle
- Coordinate with
- Coordinate with circle NOC & ENOC provisioning team for provisioning of links
- Coordinate with O & M team for fiber maintenance issues
- Coordinate with last mile fiber vendor for quick completion of Links
- Get the team to conduct last mile field survey for feasibility in a timely manner
- Mobilze team members for Fault & SA related activities on priority
- Revert feasibilities within the defined TATs
- Complete End to End Service Delivery acitivities within the TAT specified.
- Have weekly reviews with the Circle NOC & Circle ECB teams.
- Ensure team is doing proper maintenance of dedicated MPLS PoP locations
- Manage team’s administrative activities
