OVERALL PURPOSE OF JOB
The Group Lead is responsible and accountable for:
• Execution of specific areas of responsibility/deliverables with minimal supervision
• Delivering and overseeing a small team in service fulfillment activities for a given function associated with clients product/services.
• Serving as a functional expert for a program or a defined set of programs. Applies knowledge of the enterprise, business system and industry to the project team, supporting or interfacing with their program/project or defined set of projects/programs.
• Providing assistance to the Functional Team Lead with executive project reporting, issue tracking, and communication of status.
Responsibilities/Authorities
Primary:
Performs Service Fulfillment activities for a given function with medium to full supervision including:
• Learn and understand the navigational tools of all the applications needed in the process
• Observe the SLA ’s and performance measurements assigned.
• Participate and implement in Operational Excellence initiatives.
• Support functional lead in management of functional groups
• In conjunction with Lead, works to ensure development of group members’ skills.
• Provides guidance and shares knowledge with colleagues/team members relating to own specialization.
• Works with management to create and maintain work plans.
• Coaches inexperienced team members and provide first level advice on procedures/methods.
